Hello, my name is Shelley! I'm your Cruise Director for HUM206!
Me skyping with friends. That is "mini-me" my old computer. I now have "Baylin," a 15" mac book pro.

Home town: Riverside, CA...but I've been in Phoenix for 11 years now.
My Goal for this Class:
I what to expand my knowledge of thinking about television shows as another type of multi-media narrative event. I'm looking forward to learning from others how they interact with and are impacted by what they watch on television (the computer, their ipod, etc...)

Interests: reading science fiction & fantasy, watching sf&f, fantasy and anything w/SBU (stuff blowing up), geeking out--oh yeah, I do that teaching, researching, and writing stuff as well.

Favorite movies: The Blood of Heroes
Favorite TV shows: tough...probably Farscape, maybe you all can convince me otherwise this semester.

 My hero(es): Aeryn Sun (see Fascape above)

My superpower is: good question...having too much to do? LOL!

If I could live anywhere, it would be: I actually like it here (sun baby!)

My dream job(s): doing it!
