Andrew's Family
My name is Andrew Murbach and I am 30 years old. I am married and a proud father. I enjoy poker, family time, watching cartoons and my wife's shows and when I have time, working on cars. Between the kids, college and our business, I am very busy.
My wife and I have five children, three girls and two boys. The girls are 15, 8 and a little over a month old. The boys are 4 and 6. My teenager, Nancy, is like any other and is the reason for my premature greying. She will have a permit soon and her hobby is driving us up the wall but on the bright side she is very helpful with her brothers and sisters and we know that this phase is only temporary and it will bring us many laughs in the future. Nancy is in highschool and we should probably start a gas fund for all of the driving around that she requires. Cassandra, is my eight year old, going on thirty. She is was taking ballet but has decided to go with cheer this year. Although, she has many questions she usually has the answers too, she asks them anyways hoping to hear something different. My sons David and Brendan are low maintenance when they aren't fighting. David is taking Karate and Brendan will be too. My youngest is Jenna and she is just over a month old. It's too soon to know what her personality will be like. The kids bring much joy and energy and I don't know what I used to do with my time before they came into our lives.
I am working on an Automotive Degree in Technology. This is a field that comes natural as I've been working on cars since I was thirteen. This adventure began in 2002 at Glendale Community College when we lived in Phoenix. After moving to Queen Creek, it became too difficult to drive the 68 mile one-way commute and manage our growing family so I took a few years off. Later, I discovered that Mesa offered a similar degree that I could transfer to at almost half the commute. Thus, here I am with one more semester to complete my degree.
After we sold our first home two years ago, we decided to start a business. My wife is always full of crazy and not so crazy ideas so I went with the flow on this one. We purchased inflatable jumpers, waterslides and Sumo Suits using the proceeds from the sale of our home. The first season was slow but picked up quickly after we started advertising and word of mouth. It's great because we use the equipment for our own parties and save money on entertainment and sometimes we set it up just because the kids enjoy playing on it.
Although, it feels like I'm juggling alot, my plate will soon be lighter, as I graduate in the Spring of 2009. However, as life goes, something else will take it's place. I may continue school in the Fall and attend ASU but that's undecided right now. Right now, I will enjoy the ride.
