What is the history of this show?
The show itself is part of 16 years of Power Rangers teams in the U.S. starting in 1993 by Saban. He came up with and produced the first show: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers show based on the Japanese counterpart Super Sentai show of years in the making since 1975. The show was original and new to the U.S. where it went on for three seasons then moving on to Zeo, Turbo, Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, and Wild Force. In 2003, the show was bought from Disney and the Ninja Storm team came about. After Ninja Storm there was Dino Thunder, SPD- Space Patrol Delta, Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, and Jungle Fury. These shows were all based on the previous year shows from the Japanese counterpart. The next series that is suppose to come is R.P.M. Power Rangers for 2009.

How/why did it come in to being?
Saban first created the shows of the Power Rangers to bring out a new type of action show for kids and families.
Jungle Fury came into being after the Japanese counterpart came to an end. The U.S. part came to life by Disney and the producer of the Ninja Storm team show, and it was created to continue on the ranger legacy for the U.S. series. The Power Rangers shows from Disney, including Jungle Fury were filmed in New Zealand.

Power Rangers has now become a global sucess. It has always created a growing fan base since the 90s. The Japanese Super Sentai series and other series like those are a big enough sucess to keep on going. This show does have an impact of teaching some good values for kids. The show Jungle Fury has gotten millions of viewers though the exact number is hard to tell.
