My name is Rose Smothers, I am 28 (29 on October 3rd). I am married to a wonderful man named Jason. We have 2 daughters, Alexis (6) and Abigail (3). We live in Maricopa, AZ.

Up until July I was an Army wife. My husband spent 6 yrs in the United States Army stationed at Fort Benning, GA. He did two tours in Iraq and is happy to finally be out living a civilian life. I was in restaurant management for 10 yrs and a full time student for the last 3. Because of the military and issues with credits it has taken a little while to get my AA. I am set to graduate from MCC this Dec.

Come Jan I will be at ASU for my BS in Political Science, and then on to Law School. It has taken a long time but know it will be worth it in the end. I spend most of my time just being a mom. Yes I am a soccer mom. I myself was a swimmer for 15 yrs and a cheerleader for 6 yrs.

My family is my world and what makes me the happiest. I took this class because I needed another HUM course for graduation, lets be real that is why most of us are taking this class. I am honestly not sure what I am expecting to get out of this class besides 3 credits at hopefully an A.
