Good post murbacha. I agree on your comment, and that is an interesting view point. Did you think of anything else while watching the commercial? I like how you used one of Wendy's quotes. The comments of quality are somewhat more persuasive than anything else. Too bad they couldn't add organic to their statements. I hope all is well and till later from Lori W.

A commercial can be annoying, it can be great, it can cause me not to turn on the TV again. It can make or a break a show I am watching depending on the commercial and the show. If I am interested in seeing a film on TV, then I would love for the commercials to wait especially when they seem to be in commercial mania mode. We don't need commercials every two minutes or something like that. I don't need that. I usually do not see commercials that often tie into the show especially ones of the show that is on at the moment. I have not seen any commercials that has made me really think of the show I am watching at the moment. I hope this answer the questions, Happy Holidays, and until later from Lori W. P.S. My comment has me thinking of Dr. Seuss. Not trying to make fun of the questions in any way.

From an objective view, which style of animation might make more of an impact on a viewer (Naturalist or Abstract)? Is it possible that the context has much to do with the impact?

Good post dal2021265. Do you think naturalist animation can have the same effect as abstract? Do you think CGI could be animated in an abstract way? I like how you included an example that had a modern technique of animation. I agree that when styles like naturalistic goes too far into reality then it can turn away viewers. Same goes for the far end of the abstract style to where it turns away viewers. I like your quote phrase "uncanny valley". Did you come up with that? I hope all is well and until later from Lori W.

Great post rednoz. I like how you the personal example to accompany your favorite show. I have seen a few episodes of the Simpsons myself and even in German the show is pretty cool. I think the Simpsons as a abstract cartoon with a slight adult content would have been fine in high school for a senior class. Just about everyone in the class would be 18 years of age and the Simpsons does not reference so many bad things. I am glad you like the show. Is there any other episode that you are fond of? Do the Simpsons go towards the naturalist side? I know even from our textbook the Simpsons did go CGI unless it was just an example for the book. Well hope all is well and until later from Lori W.

Great post. I guess you just made some specific points and not an all around presentation. I like how you had made this personal because it gives a sense of what the person's creativity is. Do you have the other analysois parts like mise-en scene and costuming or so? The full analysis for some parts like character and narrative were there. It was explained well by examples and details. That is also the confusing part of the script. It makes me think that my way going to complete this might be wrong. You might have wanted to mention some parts of all the things about T.V. of the show. You did not need to mention any negative parts as that can distract someone from wanting to watch the show. I guess I like how formatted the script is, because it is easy to read. It is also good that you posted the actual presentation online. I would like to know more about the other aspects of production for the show. You did a great job anyways on all of this. I hope this answers the requirements, and I hope this gives you some feedback. Until later from Lori W.

Great post. What are the parts you are going to actually say? I like how you included as much detail as you can and what you were going to write. I like this because it gives me a sense of what the presentation might be like. You might want to tell which slide the things were going to be part of. I am wondering about some of the production aspects like costuming, narrative, and so forth. It gives me a sense that is not going to be a part of the presentation. I would like to know more about the narrative structure and what dal said on the mise-en scene part. You have a good analysis of most technical and other elements though it seems all mixed up. It is explained very well though. I would like to know how the story is created and so forth. I hope you did a better job than I think I did. I hope this review answers all requirements and gives you some feedback. Until later from Lori W.

I think the sound did make on impact. It allowed you to get to the each character without having them to say anything. I also thought Willie using things around him to make the music a part of the cartoon was really neat. Instead of it just being a song played in the background.

Watching Jon and Kate plus 8 you get Jon and Kate explaining everything. Like if they were in an argument they explained why it happened. I think if the show didn't have them doing the interview throughout the show it would be an entirely different show indeed.

I think camera angles and the focus they use during that angle makes a big difference to how you feel towards that character at the moment. I also like when a director gets creative with the angles and focus. To me that can make a show that much more interesting, but if done wrong it can just turn out weird.
